One-off community-based film project from Barcelona-based film company NCNC in association with Eden Arts

‘Conceived, written, and shot entirely in Middlesbrough with the people of Middlesbrough…a film about love, despair and other aliens, a participative project full of encounters and discoveries’

NCNC (Nuovo Cinema Neo Cinetico) are a Barcelona-based company who create their features in a thrilling and groundbreaking fashion – creating a brand new genre that blends film, photography, and art in public space.

We have loved working with the company and producers Eden Arts to help create this incredible piece of art that will debut in Middlesbrough on the weekend of 25 & 26 Nov.

The project started in March and over the course of three week-long visits NCNC have immersed themselves in the stories, history, culture and characters of Middlesbrough and created a beautiful a dramatic one-off narrative inspired by the town. The word ‘unique’ may be over-used but it feels pretty appropriate here. The film shot in September and will screen exclusively in Middlesbrough for these two days only.

Capacity is strictly limited – secure your seats while you still can!

Tickets can be purchased here. A suggested donation of £10 is requested.
